The Shaw Woods Outdoor Education Centre is getting a Mountain Trike All-Terrain Wheelchair.
Trails Committee Chair John Collins says that the new all-terrain wheelchair will support persons with mobility issues and provide them with increased opportunities to experience and enjoy the trails at Shaw Woods
Co-chair of the Board Fred Blackstein says the purchase of the wheelchair was made possible through donations by a number of organizations and he extended a very sincere and special thank you to the Eganville & District Seniors, Renfrew County Real Estate Board, Harry J. Searson Ltd., and the Canadian Institute of Forestry.
The unveiling of Mountain Trike All-Terrain Wheelchair will take place on Thursday, September 23rd at 12:30pm in the Pavillion at Shaw Woods.
