If you attended the Shawville Fair over the Labour Day long weekend, you may have had a run-in with COVID-19.
Quebec’s public health body issued a statement that says there were two confirmed cases at the Shawville Fair on September 4th.
It recommends people who were on the entertainment stage and who did not get a vaccine before August 28th, to isolate immediately until September 14th.
And for people who have received two vaccine doses and were also on the entertainment stage, it’s recommended to promptly get tested and monitor for symptoms until September 18th.
Anyone who attended the fair that day but wasn’t on the sound stage, monitor yourself for symptoms until September 18th.
