If you’re still waiting for a second dose appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine, you could get an automated call encouraging you to get the shot.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says calls will be made Tuesday, August 31st, between 5:00pm and 7:00pm and will show an 888 number and “ONT GOVT”.
The automated call will be from Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Moore.
The call will be made to residents who don’t have their second dose and it’s been over 40-days since their first vaccination.
Vaccine appointments can be made at local pharmacies, primary care providers and no appointments are needed for the pop-up clinics in the region.
For more information, visit RCDHU’s website or call 613-732-3629 or 1-800-267-1097.
