Incumbent Cheryl Gallant will be looking for another term in office to serve Renfrew-Nippissing-Pembroke. Gallant represents the Conservative Party of Canada and say tells us that her party plans to tackle ethics laws right away if elected government.
Gallant also says she worried about local residents who would lose the rights to have certain types of firearms.
The incumbent also mentions that the Liberals have no real idea how to get the country back on track post-pandemic.
Gallant’s name will be on the ballot alongside Cyndi Mills for the Liberals, David Ainsworth of the People’s Party of Canada and Jodie Primeau of the NDP.
