Vaccine passports are coming this fall. Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc says the provinces, who hold the data on COVID-19 vaccinations, are all reacting positively to the idea. Fully vaccinated Canadians will be able to get a government document, in digital or paper form, that will certify their COVID-19 vaccine history for international travel. It could also be used domestically if provinces choose to do so. Roughly 16,500 eligible residents in Renfrew County and District still have not received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
