Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack is stressing the importance of getting vaccinated in his July message.
Stack notes recent excitement about entering Ontario’s Stage 3 reopening is best guaranteed through a vaccinated population to stave off any further lockdowns.
The Mayor’s comments echo those of Dr. Robert Cushman, Acting Medical Officer of Health, RCDHU, who is urging residents to take advantage of COVID-19 vaccine appointments as soon as possible.
Renfrew County is holding its last Arnprior mass vaccine clinic this Thursday, (July 29th).
Residents are being asked to book online at Renfrew County – COVID Vaccination Clinic Portal, as this is the fastest way.
The RCDHU is also holding pop-up clinics this week and schedules can be found at their portal as well.
Stack advises that many pharmacy’s in Arnprior are also offering COVID-19 vaccinations and encourages residents to visit their websites for more information and to book an appointment.
