The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting a slight increase in new COVID-19 infections.
Over the last seven days a total of six cases have been reported by the RCDHU.
That’s up from the one case the health unit reported the week before.
Despite a slight increase in new infections, cases are still down significantly from the same time back in April (2021) when the RCDHU would frequently report six or seven new COVID-19 cases each day.
There’s six active cases in the region, with all people who tested positive currently isolating at home and none in the hospital.
