Even if you received an out-of-province jab, you still have to update your records locally by providing proof.
All residents of Renfrew County and District who received either a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine outside of Ontario, or a full two dose vaccine series, should submit their proof of vaccination by contacting Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) at 613-732-3629, extension 200.
Please leave one message with a name and phone number, and someone will return the call as soon as possible.
RCDHU staff will collect required information and enter a record of the vaccination(s) into the provincial COVaxON Vaccination Management System.
Staff can’t just trust the information you give over the phone, providing proof is required by either bringing a physical copy of vaccination document to the health unit or sending it via email.
If you’re thinking the information will assist in qualifying you for your second shot, you’re right- but you have to submit your proof to the RCDHU at least three business days before you go to your second appointment.
For more information, visit RCDHU’s website.
