Members of the Killaloe Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault call at the Canisbay Lake Campground in Algonquin Provincial Park last Saturday (July 10th).
As a result of their investigation, police arrested and charged 57 year old William Shain Fletcher of Otonabee-South Monaghan Township with Assault.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Fletcher was released on conditions, and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, September 8th in Killaloe.
