A verbal update on discussions between the Arnprior Library, the Township of McNab-Braeside and the Town was recently shared with elected representatives by Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack.
The Mayor says the provisions of the current agreement between the two municipalities to share library services has been overtaken by growth.
Following a COVID-sparked flare-up in January of this year, cooler heads have prevailed and the Arnprior Mayor says there was unanimous consensus that the parties return to the table under the auspices of the consultant that brokered the earlier deal.
Stack shared his report at the June 28th municipal meeting.
