How quickly the time goes!
After serving as the Chair of the Arnprior Regional Health (ARH) Board of Directors for six years, Barb Darlow has completed her final term.
The Board of Directors has appointed Cathy Jordan as the new Chair, and Barb will continue as a member of the Board of Directors until June 2022.
Says Darlow, “I am proud of the key milestones we have accomplished together as an organization, and the bright future of our local and regional healthcare.”
During Barb’s tenure, ARH commenced the construction of the new, modern 96-bed Grove Nursing Home. She also helped established models of collaborative governance in the Rural Health Hub which has helped lay the foundation for the new Four Rivers Ontario Health Team, and helped ARH achieve Exemplary Status from Accreditation Canada.
Cathy Jordan steps into the role of Chair after serving on the ARH Board of Directors for the past two years. Cathy holds a degree in nursing and has extensive experience in the health and social services field. Cathy was also the Executive Director of the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre – a position she held for 14 years.
