Over $22,000 has been raised for the Elevate Youth Wellness Centre.
Brad Johnson says he ran from his house in Ottawa to Pembroke in memory of his sister.
He adds it was not an easy task.
Brad says he ran about 40 kilometers each day he was on the road.
His mother Laurie Johnson says it was spectacular, heart warming and amazing to see.
The family hopes to have an in-person event again in 2022 for the Krista Johnson Memorial Run for Change.
The Krista Johnson Memorial Run for Change has taken place at Riverside Park in Pembroke since 2012, to promote Krista’s legacy of healthy lifestyles among our community’s youth.
