The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says youth dedicated vaccination clinics are now open.
The RCDHU says due to high uptake over the last two weeks, many 12 to 17-year-olds have already received their first dose or booked an appointment.
The health unit says this means appointments are available to all residents over the age of 12 and staff are encouraging anyone who has not yet been vaccinated to book an appointment.
Residents over 70, high risk health care workers, Indigenous residents (on or off reserve) and anyone vaccinated on or before April 18th, 2021 (with either the Pfizer or Moderna) can now book second dose appointments.
