The Township of McNab-Braeside is taking advantage of a County reconstruction project to get its adjacent sidewalks repaired.
Mayor Tom Peckett says the move was approved by Council at its meeting June 1st.
The Mayor says 244 square metres of sidewalk along that stretch of River Road will be patched or replaced.
The County has awarded the contract to H&H Construction, with work slated to get underway in mid-July.
The Township estimates its share for the sidewalk repair to be $40,000 to be taken from the Capital Asset Replacement Reserve.Township
