Environment Canada’s Heat Warning continues for the third straight day. Daytime highs of 31 to 33 degrees can be expected but the humidex will make it feel closer to 40. Health officials urge outdoor workers should take regularly scheduled breaks in a cool place. Check on older family, friends and neighbours. Make sure they are cool and drinking water. The heatwave could break come tomorrow and Thursday with temperatures dropping to the mid 20’s.
