The Town of Renfrew is letting residents and drivers know about impacts due to the Stewart Street reconstruction project.
Staff say ongoing sanitary and storm work will continue for the coming weeks along Stewart Street between Cameron Ave and Ready Ave.
Sanitary and Storm work will continue on Hincks Ave and Elgin Ave the coming week.
Road excavation and reinstatement continues on Stewart Street from Mason Ave to Town limits and will
continue for the coming weeks.
Continuing Monday, May 31st the following road restrictions will be in effect:
- Hinks Avenue at Stewart Street intersection will remain closed for the weekend and the coming week.
- Elgin Avenue at Stewart Street intersection will be closed from May 31st to June 4th
- Stewart Street from Ready Avenue to Cameron Avenue will have lane reductions with flagging operations.
- Stewart Street from Mason Avenue to Town limits will have moving lane reductions with flagging operations around work zones.
- Temporary lanes have been marked out and painted on Stewart Street from Ready Avenue to Cameron Avenue. Please use temporary lanes with increased caution.
