The Renfrew County All-terrain Vehicle Club made a presentation to Arnprior Town Council (Tuesday) highlighting its rapidly-growing membership, and its role in signing and policing trails under its jurisdiction.
Teresa Hebb’s presentation over ZOOM included a request for a land use agreement for a Dacosta Avenue exit from the Algonquin Trail to the business community based on Madawaska Boulevard.
Mayor Walter Stack says the matter is not problematic, but it is complicated.
The trail crosses Ontario Power Generation right-of-way, and existing ATV use in the vicinity vexes some neighbouring home owners.
