As some of the COVID stay-at-home restrictions ease, and the great outdoors has been liberated, the Township of Greater Madawaska announces that it will now be easier to access the Eagle’s Nest Hiking Trails, as a parking area has been completed.
Visitors must use this parking area as parking is no longer allowed on either side of Calabogie Road at the Trail’s entrance.
Please note that ATVs and vehicles with trailers are not allowed to use the new parking area.
The parking area project was completed with the cooperation of Township Public Works Staff, the County of Renfrew, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and the Algonquins of Ontario.
