The MRC Pontiac has received a COVID bailout envelope from the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing in the amount of $879,829- part of a larger amount distributed across the Outaouais and throughout Quebec.
During a public session of the Regional Council of Mayors held on May 19th (Wednesday) a unanimous resolution was passed to use a portion of these funds to support the various summer day camps across the MRC.
The following Summer Day Camps will share in this special allocation: Le Patro (13 thousand), Le Jardin Éducatif du Pontiac (20 thousand), La Maison des Jeunes in Rapides-des-Joachims (8 thousand), the Municipality of Alleyn-et-Cawood (20 thousand), the Shawville Recreational Association (20 thousand), the
Chapeau Recreational Association (20 thousand) and the Norway Bay Municipal Association (3 thousand).
