The Renfrew Golf Club is busy doing some refurbishing work while the provincial order to close golf courses remains in place.
General manager, Phil Windle says there was enough staff to work on some housekeeping before the club can welcome back members.
The province’s decision to close golf courses out of COVID-19 precautions drew criticism, as it’s considered a relatively minimal contact sport.
Windle says he prefers to be cautious and urges members to be patient for a little while longer.
