There are a number of road construction projects the Town of Arnprior would like to call your attention to.
Burwash Street will see resurfacing between John and Albert Streets. Curb and sidewalk repairs are underway, and paving is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of May 17th.
Alicia Street Reconstruction from Division Street to McLachlin Street is being handled by Primrose Construction, starting the week of May 17th with scheduled completion September 15th.
The job involves water-main replacement, storm sewer repairs and reconstruction of road, curb, sidewalks, and landscaping.
H and H Construction is currently scheduled to handle Nick Smith Centre Parking Lot Paving starting June 14th. Asphalt paving is anticipated to be placed by mid-July, wrapping up by the end of July.
H and H has another biggie on the go, the resurfacing of County Road 1 from Madawaska Street to Usborne Street in Braeside.
Construction should begin July 19th and wrap up by mid-September. This project is being undertaken by the County of Renfrew.
Finally, there may be resurfacing on Cranston Street between Allan Drive and Smolkin Street- that work is still in the tendering process.
