Roughly half a million dollars will be spent rehabilitating a 4.28 kilometer section of Burnstown Road (County Road 52).
The County of Renfrew put out a request for tenders to rehabilitate Burnstown Road from Fraser Road to Pucker Street in Horton Township.
Thomas Cavanagh Construction has been awarded the contract at a cost of $498,900.
The County of Renfrew had budgeted $932,840 for the rehabilitation of Burnstown Road, meaning the job came in $433,940 under budget.
