COVID-19 has been confirmed at Garrison Petawawa. The base confirmed a small number of positive cases have been diagnosed. The Canadian Armed Forces says contact tracing and isolation of infected troops took place. Masks are required inside all Department of National Defense (DND) buildings, vehicles and outside on DND property where physical distancing is not possible. Garrison Petawawa is currently undergoing a COVID-19 vaccination campaign.
