My Broadcasting Corporation (including 96.1 myFM in Renfrew, 104.9 myFM in Pembroke and Oldies 107.7 in Arnprior) wants to dial down the social media temperature.
The company has decided to take listeners and staff on a Facebook holiday from April 26th to May 2nd.
Company President Jon Pole says between the pandemic and politics – it feels like we’re getting a little cooked.
Pole says MBC’s audience will continue to be well served by radio station websites, and frequent on-air news updates and breaking news.
MBC stations also have other digital outlets including Twitter and Instagram.
