Acting Medical Officer of Health with the Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU), Dr. Robert Cushman, has received his first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
As of April 18th, 2021, a total of 26,134 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered through one of several COVID-19 vaccination clinics across Renfrew County and District.
The health unit has started booking second dose appointments for individuals upon clinic checkout.
The number of COVID-19 vaccines administered in Renfrew County and District is on the rise.
The RCDHU says the week of April 12th, 2021, saw 4,897 doses were administered.
