It’s the next best thing to a breath of fresh air.
On Monday MPP John Yakabuski announced a combined federal-provincial expenditure of 1.926 million dollars to upgrade HVAC and ventilation systems at Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke and North Renfrew Long-term Care Services.
Bonnechere Manor will receive up to $990,000, Miramichi Lodge is getting $106,000, while the North Renfrew allocation is up to $830,000 for a new HVAC, air conditioning and window replacement.
