Dr. Robert Cushman, the Acting Medical Officer of Health with the Renfrew County District Health Unit says he’s disappointed by the school closures beginning next week. Cushman tells us that locally, our schools are safe.
Cushman also fears that the school closures will put a major impact on the workforce, particularly those who work in health care.
When asked if education workers should be moved to the head of line for vaccines, Cushman says no.
