
A 39-year-old from Ottawa is once again making news headlines after being linked to a number of theft and fraud cases in Renfrew. Jesse Laundrie was recently arrested after allegedly robbing a gas bar. He has now been linked to six other cases of similar crimes between February 7th and March 26th of this year.
Laundrie is now facing the following charges:
• Robbery with theft – Criminal Code (CC) sec. 351(2) x 2
• Robbery – (CC) sec. 344(1)(b) x 2
• Trespassing at night – (CC) sec. 177 x 3
• Identity theft – (CC) sec. 402.2(1) x 3
• Theft and forgery of credit card – (CC) sec. 342(1)(c)
• Fail to comply with probation order – (CC) sec. 733.1(1)
• Fraud – (CC) sec.380(1)(b) x 4
• Theft under $5000 – (CC) sec. 334(b)
• Identity fraud – (CC) sec. 403(1)
• Breaking and entering – (CC) sec. 348(1)(b)
• Possession of property obtained by crime – (CC) sec. 355(b)
