The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting another seven COVID-19 cases today (Monday, April 12th, 2021).
That brings the total number of infections in Renfrew County and District up to 490, an increase in 25 over the last four days.
With 442 cases listed as resolved and four deaths linked to the virus, the RCDHU is aware of 44 active cases.
Ontario is reporting 4,401 new cases of COVID-19 today, just shy of yesterday’s record 4,456 tally.
The province is also reporting 15 new deaths as a result of the virus.
The numbers come as hospitals in most of Ontario begin scaling back on elective and non-urgent surgeries to free up capacity for COVID-19 patients
