myFM has reached out for a comment, but has not received a response.
Magellan Aerospace provides complex assemblies and systems solutions to aircraft and engine manufacturers, and defense and space agencies worldwide.
In 2018, Magellan Aerospace signed a 5-year agreement with an undisclosed commercial aeroengine customer to manufacture complex magnesium and aluminum castings and finished, machined engine shafts for gas turbine engines.
The castings are produced at a number of Magellan’s facilities including in Haley, Ontario and is expected to generate approximately CDN $53 million in revenue for the company through 2023.
