Shortly after 7:30 am Tuesday morning, officers from the Sûreté du Québec’s MRC Pontiac station responded to a collision on Route 148, near Wallace Road for a collision involving a truck and a car.
The initial investigation indicates the driver of the vehicle deviated from his lane, striking a truck which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The 28-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck and her child were not injured.
Police believe there are no criminal charges warranted, but a ticket for the offence may be issued.
