The OPP is investigating a fire at a home on Burnstown Road in Horton Township. The OPP says this afternoon (March 2nd, 2021), around 11:30 am, officers, firefighters and paramedics were called to a residential fire. The residence was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival. The OPP says the five occupants of the residence were able to exit the residence and were taken to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital with minor injuries. The Office of the Fire Marshall was contacted and will be attending to investigate. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Updates will be made when more information becomes available.
