An individual in the elementary pavilion at Jeanne-Lajoie Catholic School in Pembroke has tested positive for COVID-19. The Renfrew County and District Health Unit says all staff and students who are a close contact of the positive case have been given direction to stay home, self-isolate and get tested. The school remains open to in person learning and the health unit is working with the school to ensure necessary safety measures are in place.
