The Town of Renfrew has put out a borrowing bin next to the sliding hill at Ma-te-Way.
Parks, Recreation and Facilities Program Developer Jo-anne Caldwell tells myFM the bin went out yesterday (February 18th, 2021) and is stocked with a GT snowracer, a Zipfy sled and a toboggan.
Caldwell says the hill and borrowing bin are checked by staff on a regular basis.
Donations are also accepted.
Caldwell says people can leave sleds or toboggans in the bin or at the back door of the arena and staff will ensure they are in good condition and safe to use.
The lights at the sliding hill and skating oval at Ma-te-Way are on until 9:00pm daily.
