Snow continues to fall across the Ottawa Valley, but the snowfall warning for our area has come to an end.
Environment Canada says we could see another 2cm of snowfall today with local blowing snow.
The County of Renfrew has declared a Significant Weather Event that will impact travel and services throughout the municipality. The declaration was made last night at 8:44pm and remains in effect.
Most local roadways and highways are currently snow covered.
Highway 417 from Fitzroy Harbour to Arnprior is snow covered, from Arnprior to Cobden the highway is snow covered, and from Cobden past Deep River Highway 17 is snow covered and partly ice covered.
Highway 41 from Eganville to Pembroke is snow covered, Highway 132 from Renfrew to the Highway 41 turnoff is snow covered and Highway 60 between Eganville to Killaloe is snow covered.
