The Province is green-lighting the submission of a proposal from a group of 70 partners from the Arnprior, North Grenville, Carleton Place, Almonte and West Ottawa regions for the creation of an Ontario Health Team (OHT).
OHTs are a new way of delivering person-centered health care, developed under the government’s People’s Healthcare Act, 2019.
Eric Hanna, Chief Executive Officer of Arnprior Regional Health, says they bring together primary care, hospitals, public health and community and social services under one umbrella.
The ARH CEO says things are currently at the application-submitting stage.
