The Killaloe OPP has laid charges in a sexual assault investigation.
Police say on Friday January 8th they received a report of a sexual assault at a residence in Madawaska Valley.
A 46-year-old from South Algonquin Township has been charged with:
- Sexual Assault
- Sexual Exploitation; and,
- Fail to comply with probation order.
The accused was released on conditions, and is scheduled to appear in court February 10th, 2021.
Police are withholding the name of the accused to protect the identity of the victim.
The OPP says there is no risk to public safety.
