Schools in Renfrew County are able to reopen for in-person learning on Monday (January 25th, 2021). The announcement was made this afternoon by Education Minister Stephen Lecce. Additional safety measures announced include mandatory masks for students in grades 1-3.
Elementary and secondary schools in the following health unit regions are able to reopen for in person learning as of January 25th, 2021:
- Grey Bruce Health Unit
- Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit
- Hastings and Prince Edward Counties Health Unit
- Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Health Unit
- Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit
- Peterborough Public Health
- Renfrew County and District Health Unit
