There’s one person in Renfrew County who’s currently in hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.
The case summary from the Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) shows a total of 29 active cases with 28 people isolating at home and one person in hospital.
It’s not clear where the individual who was hospitalized is from.
Madawaska Valley has the most active cases in Renfrew County with seven infections.
Earlier this week, the St. Francis Memorial Hospital in Barry’s Bay reported a COVID-19 infection and Marianhill long-term care home in Pembroke remains in an active COVID-19 outbreak.
