The Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus (EOWC), at its annual inaugural meeting held on Friday January 8th, acclaimed Warden Debbie Robinson from the County of Renfrew as its 2021 Chair.
Robinson’s role is to provide leadership and coordination to the group consisting of thirteen upper tier and single municipalities in Eastern Ontario, serve as the primary contact for the Caucus, and carry established priorities forward in the coming year.
Warden Liz Danielson from Haliburton County was elected as the 2021 Vice-Chair.
The EOWC covers an area of 45,000 square kilometres from Cobourg to the Quebec border, representing the area’s 750,000 residents.
