Ontario Premier Doug Ford says if COVID-19 rules and regulations aren’t followed the shutdowns won’t end in January.
Ford made the announcement today (January 8th, 2021) as the province reported a record 4,249, including 450 cases from January 5th and 6th. It’s still a record-breaking figure for new daily infections in Ontario. Ford urged residents to avoid gatherings with those outside of your home.
The Premier also warned if more vaccines aren’t secured hospital operations may be cancelled.
Ford says all of Ontario will run out of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine by next week.
