Don’t expect to be seeing a long list of local elected representatives caught with travel ticket stubs in their back pockets.
Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack indicates there was no formal directive that members of Council not travel over the holiday break, but expects common sense should apply.
Stack has seen a number of his peers in the community over the break, and says a formal roll call will take place at the Town’s virtual Council meeting slated for next Monday, January 11th.
Renfrew Mayor Don Eady is not aware of any members of either Council or Town Administration who absented themselves from the district over the period.
