Horton Township is preparing for the provincial shutdown.
Staff are encouraging residents to follow guidelines and protocols set out by public health experts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Horton Township offices will be closed to the public unless an appointment has been made. Municipal staff will continue to be available during regular business hours to address questions and concerns by phone.
Residents are encouraged to pay their property taxes online or at the township office drop box.
There will be no changes to curbside garbage and recycling collection and the landfill will remain open for regular hours.
Burn permits and dog tags can be purchased online.
Due to the provincial shutdown the Horton Community Centre is closed for rentals.
These measures will remain in effect until January 23rd.
