The Town of Renfrew Parks and Recreation Department says they’re getting ready to open the skating oval just in time for the holidays.
In a social media post yesterday afternoon, it says the outdoor ice season is expected to start today!
The skating oval has been moved and is located at the track near Ma-te-Way.
Staff say they moved the oval from the location last year and hope to be able to set up some lights to allow for skating at night.
