Renfrew County residents are watching as other parts of the province and country get the COVID-19 vaccine. Acting Medical Officer of Health with the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, Doctor Robert Cushman expects the demand to be greater than the supply for the first few months.
Cushman says priority areas and long-term care homes in hard hit areas will get the vaccine before it comes to Renfrew County.
Cushman says it’s important that healthcare and long-term care workers get vaccinated.
