It’s unlike any Santa Claus parade she’d ever put together; the Santa drive-by Sunday at the Nick Smith Centre in Arnprior was a huge success.
Organizer Theresa Carron says cars began lining up early.
There were many mascots and volunteers who helped entertain the kids, some of whom waited in line for fifty minutes for their chance at seeing Santa.
500 treat bags were given out to the kids, and COVID or no COVID, Theresa says the drive-by format is being considered for next year’s event.
Arnprior’s Drive by Visit with Santa Claus Sunday raised $1006.60 and a flatbed trailer full of food for food bank.
