The Warden for the County of Renfrew is urging residents to limit contact with others as we head into the holiday season.
Warden Debbie Robinson made the remarks as part of her opening address to county council this morning (November 25th).
Robinson says we’re heading in the wrong direction with 131 total cases reported across Renfrew County and District (as of yesterday afternoon).
The warden says recent stats are alarming and adds we’re heading in the wrong direction at a disturbing rate.
Robinson notes that in the last 30-days 62 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in communities across Renfrew County and District.
Local residents are also encouraged to not venture outside of their community unless it’s for essential purposes.
