The Dillon Consulting Shared Services report on shared service prepared for seven towns and townships in Renfrew County is quite the reading assignment.
Representatives of Greater Madawaska, Admaston-Bromley, Whitewater Region, Horton, McNab-Braeside, Renfrew, and Arnprior constitute the Local Efficiency- or “LEG” group, and members were successful in earning Provincial monies to investigate shared service possibilities.
Greater Madawaska Mayor Brian Hunt says administrative members of the team have reviewed it, and now participating municipal councils will have their chance.
Some are saying the Dillon Consulting report is more valuable for the attitude it reflects than the solutions it proposes.
