The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has confirmed three additional cases of COVID-19.
That brings the case count for our area up to 118, with 111 cases considered resolved and one death the local health unit is aware of six active cases, all in self-isolation.
There’s currently four active cases in Petawawa, one in the Pembroke area and one around Deep River.
The two local schools in outbreak status according to the provincial website are Valour in Petawawa and Bishop Smith in Pembroke.
Marianhill in Pembroke is the one long-term care home in our county in outbreak status.
No residents at Marianhill have tested positive for the virus, but a staff case is still being monitored.
