Renfrew County Paramedic Chief and Director of Emergency Services Mike Nolan has been recognized by Algonquin College.
Nolan is a graduate of the Ambulance and Emergency Care Paramedic Class of 1991.
Algonquin College recently presented Nolan with the Alumni of Distinction Community Services Award.
The local paramedic chief says in 30-years students won’t even recognize the profession they are training for today.

Nolan recommends paramedicine at Algonquin because it challenges people to not only do their best, but also to grow in a profession that is changing and evolving.
